A New Twist On The Snake Alley Festival of Film!

In case you haven’t heard, the new dates for The Snake Alley Festival of Film are in August, from the 6th to the 8th.

We had to move it due to scheduling conflict with other events in the city. August is a great time to come to Burlington, Iowa. Fresh corn, great weather and less chance of rain, which could impact the outdoor events we’ve got planned. OK, so there might be a tornado, but look where it got Dorothy. (Oh wait! That was in Kansas. Never mind! Beside we’ve only got wiener dogs in Burlington.

Deadline for entry is April 1st, so get those flicks in the mail. Late deadline is May 1st, so if you’ve got some film editing to do, get crackin’ as they say here in the Midwest.

We’ve gotten a lot of really good entries already. Soon you will see people walking around with bloodshot eyes. Those would be the judges who have to watch and evaluate each entry.

Help them lose sleep. Send in your film.

See you all in August, when the corn is as high as an elephant’s eye. (Ah…that was Oklahoma. Never mind!)
